LunoriaMC
A survival MMORPG. Gather, fight, trade, rise.
Welcome
LunoriaMC takes the survival game you know and layers an RPG on top of it. You still mine, build and farm, but you also run dungeons, complete quests, collect custom gear, earn badges and climb a player-driven economy. There is no pay-to-win here. Everything, including every rank, can be earned with in-game cash.
This page walks you through the whole game, from joining to your first rank. If you only read one thing, read Your first hour.
Join, follow the starter quests, earn cash by selling what you gather, then spend it on gear, ranks and crate keys. Vote every day for free rewards.
Joining the server
You can play on either edition of Minecraft. Both editions play on the same server and see the same world.
| Edition | Address | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Java | play.lunoriamc.com | Recommended. Best experience with custom items and menus. |
| Bedrock | play.lunoriamc.com | Phone, console and Windows. See Bedrock players. |
Step by step
- Open Minecraft and go to the multiplayer (Java) or servers (Bedrock) screen.
- Add a new server and enter
play.lunoriamc.com. - When the game asks about the server resource pack, accept it. It gives you the custom items, icons and menus. Declining it makes items look wrong or invisible.
- Join and you will land at spawn.
If custom items look like plain blocks, reconnect and make sure the server resource pack is set to Enabled in the server's edit screen.
Your first hour
Everyone starts at the same place, with the same nothing. Here is a good route for a new adventurer.
- Look around spawn. Read the signs and say hello in chat. Staff and players are happy to help.
- Take your starter quests. Quests teach the basics and pay out cash and items. See Quests, badges & dailies.
- Claim your daily reward. It is free and it grows if you keep logging in.
- Gather basics. Wood, stone, crops and mob drops. Anything you do not need can be sold.
- Sell for cash. Use the sell menu to turn loot into money. See Cash & the economy.
- Vote. Type
/voteand claim the rewards. It takes a minute. - Find a spot and claim a home. Build somewhere you like. Your base is yours.
Cash & the economy
Cash is the heart of LunoriaMC. You earn it by selling items, finishing quests, running dungeons and trading with other players. You spend it on better gear, ranks, crate keys and anything other players sell you.
Ways to earn
- Selling crops, ores, mob drops and cooked meals through the sell menu.
- Completing quests and daily rewards.
- Clearing dungeons and keeping the rare drops that sell high.
- Trading directly with other players.
Ways to spend
- The buy menu, for items you need in bulk.
- Ranks, which unlock extra perks (see Ranks).
- Crate keys from the key shop (see Crates, keys & voting).
Cooked food usually sells for more than raw ingredients. Turning your harvest into meals is one of the best early money makers.
Custom items
LunoriaMC has its own items on top of vanilla Minecraft: unique weapons, tools, armor, cosmetics and special finds called artifacts. They are what make the server feel like an RPG.
| Type | What it is | How you get it |
|---|---|---|
| Gear | Custom weapons, tools and armor. | Dungeons, mob drops, crates, other players. |
| Artifacts | Rare special items with unique looks and abilities. | Exploring, dungeons and rare drops. |
| Apparel | Wearable outfits and hats that change how you look. | Quests, crates, trading. |
| Materials | Crafting ingredients that do not exist in vanilla. | Gathering, mobs and farming. |
Hover over any custom item to read its tooltip. It tells you what the item does and how rare it is. Keep what you use and sell the rest.
Farming & cooking
Not every adventurer swings a sword. Farming and cooking are a full path to wealth and strength.
Farming
Plant crops, harvest them and sell them. Some crops are server specific and sell for more than the vanilla ones. Larger farms earn faster, so expand as your cash grows.
Cooking
Combine harvested ingredients into meals. Meals sell for more than raw crops, and some give useful bonuses when eaten. Experiment, since some recipes are worth much more than they look.
Dungeons & mobs
Out in the world, custom mobs roam and drop special loot. Deeper in, dungeons hold tougher enemies and better rewards.
Mob drops
Defeating mobs drops materials you can sell, craft with or keep. Rarer mobs drop rarer things, so a tough fight is often worth it.
Dungeons
- Bring food, healing and your best armor.
- Going with friends makes it far easier and the loot is worth sharing.
- Do not carry anything you cannot afford to lose.
- Read the tooltips on boss drops. Some of them are the best items on the server.
Quests, badges & dailies
These are the systems that give you a reason to log in every day and a goal to chase.
| System | What it does |
|---|---|
| Quests | Story and task chains from NPCs. They teach the game and pay cash and items. |
| Badges | Permanent achievements for milestones. Collect them to show what you have done. |
| Daily rewards | A free reward every day. Keeping a streak makes it better. |
| Traveling NPCs | Special characters who appear now and then with unusual trades and quests. |
Talking to the characters you find around the world is how most quests start. If you see one, right-click it.
Ranks
Ranks give you extra perks and a tag next to your name. On LunoriaMC, every rank is bought with in-game cash, never with real money. A new player and a veteran have the same path open to them.
- Ranks are earned by playing, so there is nothing to buy in a store.
- Higher ranks cost more cash, so there is always something to aim for.
- Ranks never make you stronger in combat. They are about convenience and style.
Crates, keys & voting
Crates hold a random mix of items, cosmetics and cash. You open one with a key.
Getting keys
- Key shop: type
/keyshopto buy keys with in-game cash. - Voting: type
/voteto see the voting sites. Every vote gives you a reward. - Events and quests: keys are sometimes handed out as prizes.
Opening a crate
- Find a crate at spawn.
- Hold the matching key and right-click the crate.
- Watch the roll. Your prize lands in your inventory.
Keys are sold only for in-game cash, and everything inside can be earned through normal play.
Bedrock players
Bedrock players are welcome and use the same server as Java players. Menus and custom items are made to work on both. A few things to know:
- Menus appear as simple lists or forms. Tap an option to select it.
- Always accept the resource pack when prompted.
- Your Bedrock name may appear with a short prefix so staff can tell editions apart.
- If something does not look right, tell a staff member what device you use.
Rules
The server is only fun when everyone feels welcome. Keep it simple and you will be fine.
- Be respectful. No harassment, slurs, threats or targeting other players.
- No cheating. Hacked clients, x-ray, auto-clickers and exploits are not allowed. Bugs should be reported, not used.
- No spam or advertising. Do not flood chat or promote other servers.
- No scamming. Trade honestly and fairly.
- Do not grief. Leave other players' builds alone.
- Listen to staff. If a staff member asks you to stop something, please do.
Breaking the rules can lead to a warning, a mute or a ban, depending on how serious it is.
